Influence of the disposable bags, dishes and bottles
According to statistic there is 10% of the garbage produced by man is polyethylene bags.
The waste, like any other plastic, decomposes from 100 to 500 years and poisoning soil and water during this process. 20 minutes is the average time of using one plastic bag.
Basically, disposable garbage goes to landfills. When it's burning, it secretes carcinogens and carbon monoxide, and bisphenol, which even in small doses can lead to the different diseases.
A plastic plate doesn't need to be burned to make bisphenol stand out. When we put hot food on it, this process is already taking place. And the poisonous compound penetrates directly into the food, and therefore into your body.
The disposable bags and plastic are also dangerous for the animals. Annually about 1 million seabirds, mammals, fish die because they swallow plastic and polyethylene instead of food. This cases are very common, since a quarter of the world's ocean is covered with polyethylene.
How to solve this problem?
The eco-bags and shopping bags can be an excellent alternative for the huge number of packages that the average the families use annually. Such bags are processed, and also save your money, since you can use it for the years.
Instead of disposable dishes for picnic you can use plastic, glass and aluminum utensils, which are suitable for repeated use, and also perfectly processed and does not secrete toxins.
The problem with the plastic bottles is also quite easy to solve. It is only necessary to use a reusable bottle and to refill with water at home and accessible places. This saves both: the nature and your wallet. Did you know that to produce a disposable plastic bottle it needs three times more water than it can fit? If you still had to buy a plastic bottle, hand them later to recycling. This will save natural resources, and will allow to produce new goods from recyclables.
However, when you are choosing a replacement for disposable things, be careful. For example: paper bags can be considered environmentally friendly alternative only if they are recycled. Otherwise its lides to deforestation.
